Wilson Security Making Tracks Indigenous Employment Program

The Making Tracks program supports and promotes positive employment outcomes for Indigenous people. Making Tracks is part of Wilson Security’s commitment to Indigenous Australians.

Asset College are honoured to have been selected as the training provider to deliver the CPP20218 Certificate II in Security Operations in QLD with the support of Indigenous Workstars and Five Bridges.

The program runs for 3 weeks and includes onboarding, security training and employment readiness. The successful candidates are mentored through to the licence application stage and then onto employment via Adam Stone – Indigenous Support Officer at Wilson Security.

“I am getting so many offers of gigs from Asset & Prosek but unfortunately, I have to turn most of them down.

Since December I have basically had full-time work with the Gold Coast Council Parking Officers with heaps of overtime!

As we get nearer to the quieter months of the year (winter) I will probably be back looking for work so I am taking the occasional job from both Asset & Prosek so I can stay on their books and they seem quite happy with me!

If not for your assistance after the induction I would probably still be submitting security applications having no success…. So thank-you very much.

Also, thanks for the ongoing support with employment opportunities.

My employment life looks much brighter with your guidance and support!”
